Vandermade Brief History of the PrincipalsAlan Vandermade the founder and president was first licensed in Real Estate in July 1964. After a two-year apprenticeship with a developer of shopping centers and industrial buildings, he opened his own office in Palo Alto in May, 1966. In 1969, he was certified with the coveted designation of CCIM and also pioneered in the development of a program for computerized analysis of commercial investment properties, which was purchased by the National Association of Realtors. He has developed shopping centers, office buildings, single family subdivisions and churches, and has leased, sold and exchanged all of the above properties, bare land, industrial and apartments. He is designated as an honorary life member of CCIM, Northern California Commercial Association of Realtors, Santa Clara County Association of Realtors, and California Association of Realtors. Victor Hassan joined the company in 1997 specializing in Corporate Tenant Representation. After having done an outstanding job in serving the needs of industrial and office clients in the areas of relocation services and maintenance for a period of 15 years, he determined to focus on meeting their needs in the field of commercial real estate, and in order that he be accomplished in the best possible manner, to be a candidate, for the CCIM designation. Victor served as president of Hassan Maintenance Co. from 1984 to 1992, then successfully managed the post of CEO at Your Next Office, Inc. from 1992 to 1997, which was acquired by Micon Telecom. Victor is a consistent top producer among the Commercial Real Estate Brokers in Silicon Valley and Northern California. Active in the community, Victor serves on the board at SJB Child Development Centers, the largest Child Development Center dedicated to low income families in the South Bay.
